This year I'm very excited to celebrate the week of thanksgiving. I will be in Colombia!!!!! I'll be visiting my mom, sisters, cousin, also I will be visiting my friends. My family is very happy. ALP CLASS
You have studied very hard in the ALP in all of your classes. Please write a paragraph of about 10 sentences telling something interesting you learned in one of your other classes. ALP has an interesting program to learn English. I like this semester because the classes were very interesting and give very important information to learn to speak and write the English.
I like classes where teachers have good pronunciation because I learn more words I need to improve as are the class composition, reading, grammar and vocabulary .Currently I have an elective class called Critical Thinking. this class is very difficult to understand because the topic is not easy and the teacher speaks very fast. She is an excellent professor but I do not enjoy the class.

HALLOWEN

My friends didn't think it was a good idea, but they were cold and wet, so they said "yes". We walked up the old wooden steps to the front door. The door opened loudly. We went inside, sat down, and started to eat a chocolate bar, when heard a noise on the second floor, my friends told me, go to see it. I was scared. My friend went to the second floor. He was near the room. I saw something on the bed, suddenly a black cat jumped out. AHHHHHHH a shout was heard. I shout too. My friend said it was just a cat. Then we went to the kitchen and found delicious cakes, chocolates, and drinks. We had a funny day.

I like to know a lot of countries in the world. I would specially like to know Paris. I like this country because it is romantic and has many interesting places to visit. I love Italian food and cooking at home. I like ravioli, lasagna, and spaghetti. This is the preferred food for my family, also like to accompany this dish with famous French bread.
Also, Paris is famous for gardens and parks, I would like to know the garden of Luxembourg and enjoy traveling with my family in this wonderful country, we also buy famous perfumes most famous fragrances.

I like students life at American university, but I don't like a lot of homework, because some teachers give many tasks. I think the homework should not be too much large. Everyday, all teachers give homework. When I finish class in the university, I go home and start my tasks at 5:00 p.m. First, I start with my children. Then I do my homework, and I finish maybe 9:00 p.m or 10:00 p.m. Now, the class schedule is very hard. Everyday I work very hard in class, and I like to have a little homework for home. Homework is necessary, but I think short tasks are better for me.

Colombia is beatiful country. There are several places for know. I like traveling for differents places. I were going to go a trip for the river called Magdalena. I was experience very exciting. This travel was five days in boat. Many boats take part in this trip and the people like help others people when they need. This travel is for the Magdalena River.
Every Day the boats stop in a differents city. Every city that you know many peoples who live there. This people are very special and you can see differents activities that people enjoy. The people show their dances and delicious food. The next day when starting the trip, the peolple who are in the boats arrive gifts for all children and their enjoy running behing the boats to get your gift. Is very exciting because you can help people poor and give a great smile in those days.

MY LIFE
MY LIFE
My life today is very different. Five years ago, I like simply. My life in Colombia was different because I had my family, friends, and my job. Now. I studying in the university, and I'm alone with my family in this country. However, we are very happy in California. We know many people from different countries and other cultures. I remember one year ago, when starting in the University, I was very nervous. Didn't understand English, but I remember a very special teacher. She helped in hard moments. She is in my heart. She is my composition class teacher.
